THE SOUTHERN BELLES INTRODUCE NEW DRUMMER AND WINTER TOUR

Lockn’ Festival alum The Southern Belles begin 2016 with a new drummer and a two-leg, sixteen-week tour.
The Southern Belles start the new year with a new Belle behind the drum kit, Aaron Zarrow, who previously played in The Royal Noise, from Philadelphia, PA. and joined the Belles for one of their monthly First Friday shows at The Camel in 2015.
“I think this is going to be the beginning of an exciting musical journey,” said Zarrow. “I’m really stoked to be given an opportunity like this, to play in a band whose music I already enjoy listening to. Now I get to contribute to a band’s sound that I feel is unique and powerful enough to go very far. I’m also walking into what seems to be such a tight knit, family-like fan base and support system, and that’s huge.”
Starting with two local dates, the band heads south to Florida for their first time in the second week of February. By the third week, they’re heading up to New York, Vermont, other points northeast to close out the month. As has been the case for the past three years, they will play the first Friday in March at The Camel before heading west though Tennessee to Colorado.
