Electrifying crowds with their mix of eclectic, organic, mind-bending, energetic sounds. Melvin has been entertaining generations of music goers with his keyboards and B-3 organ playing with many of the industries greats such as Steve Kimock, Chuck Berry and of course Jerry Garcia. Melvin Spent 18 years with the Jerry Garcia Band and was dubbed “Master Of The Universe” by Jerry. From blues to funk to rock to jazz, Melvin Seals serves up a tasty mix with a little R&B and gospel thrown in to spice things up. With acoustic and electric ingredients and unique combinations of Dave Hebert’s guitar and vocals, Pete Lavezzoli’s hearty drums. In addition to the often played staples, the band has recently been exploring the back catalog and performing a ton of super rare tunes, some of which The Jerry Garcia Band played only a few times over all those years.
