ALO RELEASES “LOVE SONGS” EP

KICK OFF 11TH ANNUAL TOUR D’AMOUR

January 27, 2017 (San Francisco, CA) – To celebrate the 11th annual iteration of their Tour d’Amour, California jam/pop rockers ALO have announced the release of a new EP, Love Songs, due out today. The release features covers of four love-themed favorites, each selected by the members of the band. Guitarist Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz picked New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle”, which has been making its way into the band’s live repertoire. Also featured are The Turtles’ “Happy Together”, Johnny Nash’s “Hold Me Tight” and Curtis Mayfield’s “So In Love”.

With the EP in hand, ALO Tour d’Amour will return to some of its favorite rooms in California and also make a run up to Seattle and Portland. Jumping on tour for different shows will be The Brothers Comatose, Twiddle, Moon Hooch and Rabbit Wilde.

For its third year in a row, the tour will also include a Saturday matinee at the Fillmore in San Francisco for kids and families. And as every Tour d’Amour goes, a portion of the tour proceeds will be donated to an organization dedicated to providing musical education to kids. For 2017, the recipient will be the Blue Bear School of Music.
