Memorial Day weekend is overrated and late to the party. Because folks who are ready to breakdown, and folks who have already been breaking it down before they were told to do so are going to the Susquehanna Breakdown. It’s all breaking down one week before the Memorial Day holiday weekend at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA.
Are you ready to rage it with Greensky Bluesgrass, The Wood Brothers, Keller Williams, Cabinet, Turkuaz, and Tom Hamilton?
Are you prepared for what might happen when Keller & Cabinet spontaneously combust into soundwaves?
If you’re an RV festy, an “in-tents” festy, or a VIP fancy festy, there’s a ticket with your name on it. And bonus: camping is actually on the lawn of the venue—none of this “walk 10 miles and ford a river to the main stage” nonsense. However, you will have to hike a bit from the parking lot with your camping gear—so read the camping policies ahead of time so you can be ultra-prepared for your breakdown experience.
The parking lot opens at 3:00pm and the festival gates open at 4:00pm on Friday, May 19th. After that, you’re in the hands of the Americana, roots, bluegrass, funk, jam and folk artist community who are waiting to breakdown with you.
If you’re a bit skeptical about whether your heart is healthy enough for the Susquehanna Breakdown, please consult the website at www.susquehannabreakdown.com. There you will be diagnosed with Breakdown Disorder, and you will only see pictures of joyful campers and sunlit campgrounds.
So, the question on our minds is: Will we see you at #TheBreakdown?
