Kung Fu has been establishing their place in the Northeast funk and jam scene for years, growing and evolving as an internationally touring band, making themselves in demand for high-energy music fans. The “electro-funk fusion” band has been busy in 2017 and has been showing no signs of slowing down their winter tour into 2018. They just opened up for Moe. at The Capitol Theatre February 2nd, threw down an epic Phish after-party New Year’s Eve, and of course did their annual Toys For Tots benefit December 16th with Pink Talking Fish.
They are bringing their blistering dance music to some of our favorite venues this week, so don’t miss the chance to see them as they come through. Thursday February 8th, Kung Fu will be at Five Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke, VA. This recently remodeled venue features high ceilings, great acoustics, and a VIP mezzanine. Buy tickets for Thursday.
Friday February 9th, All Good presents Kung Fu at Gypsy Sally’s, a venue bringing all of the great up and coming jam bands to Washington, DC, many of which featured in the pages of The Jamwich. This intimate Georgetown venue has great bites to eat and cool Vinyl Lounge to step into and chill on the couch. Buy tickets for Friday.
Saturday February 10th, All Good presents Psycho Killers with Kung Fu at Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore, MD. Kung Fu is no stranger to Talking Heads tributes, often co-headlining with Pink Talking Fish. We love the beautiful Ram’s Head Live in the city we like to call Jamwich’s home away from home, charm city Baltimore. We’re sure to see much family there Saturday night. Buy your tickets for Feb 10th.
