Coming off several weeks on the road, the Pigeons are flocking back to the coop, continuing their Pizazz 2018 tour on their original stomping grounds for two nights at 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. There’s no party like a hometown party for Pigeons and their fans, and this two-night celebration will be no exception.

When the boys come home, there is always a pre-show gathering to get the party started. Join us at the Satellite Room (adjacent to 9:30 Club) for a pre-show pajama party! Get dressed up in your finest PJs, grab a drink or two, and mingle with other local flockers before the show.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will be joined by The Fritz on Friday, March 30 and Consider the Source on Saturday, March 31. The Fritz is a soul-driven dance rock band from Asheville, NC and Consider the Source is a progressive Middle Eastern fusion collective based in New York City.

In the last few years, Pigeons have quite literally exploded in the funk music scene, with their fan base growing exponentially, playing major music festivals like LOCKN’, Bonnaroo, High Sierra and The Peach, making appearances on radio shows and podcasts, and hosting their very own Domefest which has become a major success. Pigeons also recently secured a major opportunity; playing the Knicks halftime show at NYC’s Madison Square Garden on March 23. The sky is clearly not the limit for the Baltimore boys and there will undoubtedly be much more to come from this talented quartet in the near future.

The high-energy, psychedelic funk band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, brings end-of-the-world enthusiasm to their high-energy psychedelic funk. Their infectious electro-funk grooves, undeniable live energy and contagious smiles have their rabid fan base “the Flock” growing exponentially. Based out of Baltimore, MD, this animated quartet has been scorching up the country with their explosive performances and danceable peaks

Two-night passes for the 9:30 Club shows are sold out, but you can still grab single-day tickets before they’re gone!
