2ND ANNUAL WACCAMAW GETAWAY FESTIVAL
One of the only true music festivals in the Myrtle Beach area will have its second run Memorial Day weekend 2018, on the banks of the beautiful Waccamaw River at the Bucksport Marina outside of Conway, SC.
Gates open at noon on Friday, May 25, 2018, with live music beginning at 7 pm that evening. Live music begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday & Sunday morning (with a breakfast buffet available for purchase), and will continue until late night. Camping is encouraged and (primitive camping) is included in the ticket price, along with parking.
As the only camping festival in the Myrtle Beach area, the Waccamaw Getaway Festival gives people a chance to experience a true music festival. The music featured will be in the “jam band” genre, along with some blues, funk, dance & good old rock & roll. Original Widespread Panic drummer, Todd Nance (and Friends) will headline along with The Ben Miller Band, and Bloodkin, and many more excellent bands you won’t want to miss!
Stay out of the busy holiday traffic where a laid back & groovy atmosphere will await you. There will be merchandise vendors, fire & flow area with Over the Moon Productions, and the onsite restaurant will have food & drinks available for purchase.
