Hello Readers! Hopefully everyone out there is staying warm, and finding ways to keep positive in theses cold, dark days. Dr. Jamwich recommends three live shows per week in order to keep the spirits alive and well. Need some recommendations? Here is what’s up this week.
Get ready for one of the longest standing musical traditions in Asheville, North Carolina, Christmas Jam 30! For the past 30 years Warren Haynes has invited a cast of talented musicians to his hometown of Asheville, in order to boogie down with like-minded folk and to raise funds for the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity. The event will take place this Friday and Saturday at the U.S. Cellular Center and will included performances from Gov’t Mule, Grace Potter, Marco Benevento, Mike Gordon, Dave Grohl, Eric Church, Jim James, Joe Bonamassa and more! Come be a part of something truly special, and enjoy some good tunes while you’re at it.
Still craving the festival experience? There might be a chance for you to do this Friday at the Moutain Spring Arena in Hamburg, PA for Boogie in the Bungalow 10. Online tickets sales for the event have been close, but there are still a few tickets available to be purchased (cash only) at the gate for $50. The event will take place all day Friday, with music provided by Swift Technique, Marbin, Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers, LITZ and more! If this is an event that you are interested in going to, please contact Jibberjazz Productions to be sure a ticket will be available for you at the gate if you haven’t purchased one already.
Head over to Gypsy Sally’s in Washington, DC this Friday, for A Gypsy Sally’s Holiday Hoedown. Get together with friends and family to fight back the darkness and despair that winter brings with hearty dose of roots rock, Americana, and alternative folk music.
