(BALTIMORE) – Waterfront Partnership is introducing a new outdoor concert series called Fun on the Waterfront this spring, featuring live music, local food trucks, bar service, family-friendly lawn games, photo booth and more. Surrounded by sweeping views of the Inner Harbor, concerts will take place the first Friday of each month at Harbor Point Central Plaza and the second Friday of each month at West Shore Park from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
“We’re really excited about the bands this year. Between jazz, bluegrass, rock, soul and more, there is something for everyone,” said Matt Shaffer, director of marketing and communications for Waterfront Partnership. “The lineup has a bigger reach, while still maintaining a local feel.”
The Fun on the Waterfront series combines elements from Waterfront Partnership’s past Yappy Hour, Brews & Views and Summer Social series to create one free, family-friendly series perfect for kicking-off the weekend. New additions include pop-up food and craft vendors, free face painting at West Shore Park, free caricatures at Harbor Point Central Plaza, activities from local attractions like the National Aquarium, Maryland Zoo and more.
“Combining these series gives us an opportunity to focus our efforts on making Fun on the Waterfront something everyone can enjoy,” said Shaffer. “It’s about the music and a really good time on the waterfront whether you bring your dog or your family or just want to hang out with friends or colleagues.”
Bond Distributing and MillerCoors are the official beer sponsors of the Fun on the Waterfront concert series and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will offer a variety of cocktails at each event.
