Welcome to a new week! As always, The Jamwich is here to share with the people with our top picks for live concerts over the next seven days. Temperatures are rising, the sun in shining, and that means it’s time to get out and about. Gather all your friends to share the day, and finish it off with some live music from one of your favorite bands at night. Not sure where to go, or who to see? No biggie. Here’s what’s up this week.
Catch up with Papadosio as they continue to melt faces during their Content Coma Tour. This week they begin playing shows on Wednesday, with some support from the award winning psychedelic rock act, Galaxy Dynamite at Elevation27 in Virginia Beach, VA. Dosio’s next stop is at Club XL in Harrisburg, PA on Thursday followed by a two-night run at Brooklyn Bowl in New York. Friday night, Space Bacon will be on site to get things started, and Cycles will have the pleasure of opening on Saturday. The band will close out the week with another show on Sunday, also with Cycles, at The National in Richmond, VA. If you can’t make any of this week’s show, but would like to see Papadosio, there are still some shows in PA, MA, NJ, and MD before the tour ends.

Consider The Source and LITZ team up this week for a string of shows that you won’t want to miss out on. Let these two awesome bands show you how it’s done at The Pour House in Charleston, SC (04/10), Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, NC (04/11) and Bright Box Theatre in Winchester, VA. Consider The Source has just released a new studio album titles “You Are Literally a Metaphor,” and LITZ have just announced their first official festival, which will be called “Ragamaru” and will be held June 13-16.

The 2019 River Rocks Music Festival is this Sunday, the 14th at Congaree River at Founder’s Park in Columbia, SC. Enjoy live music from Justin Townes Earle, The Artisinals, Little Stranger, Stagbriar and The Dubber. Take advantage of the several demonstrations and activities that aim to educate how to improve water quality and wildlife habitats, as well as how to create opportunities for recreation within nature. This event is great for kids, and even features a kids area with bounce house, rock climbing wall, and balloon art. Kid under 12 enter for free with a paying adult. General Admission tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. Volunteer positions are also still available. Visit the festival’s official site to learn more.
