Higher Education is gearing up to release a new album, Conversations with the Moon, for sale on Bandcamp on June 5th and for streaming everywhere officially on June 19th. They are now offering a sneak preview of the album on hearnow.com and you can pre-save it on Spotify! This will be the fifth album release for the rock reggae band since their debut album Chasing Highs released in 2013.
Higher Education is a four piece band composed of Petey Devaney on vocals, guitar and bass; Danny Devaney on vocals, guitar, and bass; Chris Haddad on lead guitar, and Bradley Wilson on drums. Their unique blend of psychedelic reggae with riotous rock ‘n’ roll makes them a high-energy crowd pleaser for many musical tastes. The latest album Conversations with the Moon features five tracks that will make you sway, dance, and bang your head. While a couple of the songs have been in regular rotation at their live shows, some of them have barely been played before, so anticipate some fresh tunes even if you are already a fan of the band.
Conversations with the Moon was recorded at the band house home studio with most of the tracking done by Chris Haddad and their audio engineer Luke DeOrio. After mixing, the album was sent to Drew Lamond at WrightWay Studios in Baltimore for final mixing and mastering.
