The finest tribute to the incredibley talented and unique band known as Talking Heads. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this band before & even photographing Jon Braun along with Pink Talking Fish and members of Turkuaz at a show called “Stop Making Sense” at the Capitol Theatre. From then Jon’s energy and spot on impersonation of David Byrne have stayed engraved in my memory of funk. So naturally when this band was to play 15 minutes away from my home I had to check out the show.
They did not disappoint! I was excited for some of the concertgoers who said they’d never seen the band before. I had a hunch that the band would deliver and boy did they ever.
Talking Heads are quite particular and not the easiest to play well so I give all the respect to this band for pulling off a difficult task so brilliantly.
