Where can you experience String Cheese Incident, Grace Potter, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, and Greensky Bluegrass all in the same day? Well the one and only Merryland Festival right in our backyard at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD on July 9th and 10th, 2016. Brought to you by the same minds that created All Good Music Festival, this new music festival is a true crab feast of music. There’s no band that isn’t a “headliner” including Lotus, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Nahko & Medicine For The People, Yonder Mountain String Band, Shakey Graves, and even more. Besides the main event, there are also kick off concerts and late night shows like Papadosio with ELM on Friday July 8th at Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore, MD, Soul Rebels with People’s Blues of Richmond July 8th at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, and a Late Night concert hosted by Kung Fu with guest appearances by Karl Denson and more Saturday July 9th at Ram’s Head.
There are options for tickets besides your standard General Admission, you can choose to have pavilion access or pit access, and you can even go for the VIP experience that offers access to viewing areas, a Q&A session with members of The String Cheese Incident, a special acoustic set from Yonder Mountain String Band, access to a lounge with a cash bar, tickets to the kick off parties and late night concerts, and more!
