Soulshine Farm Music Festival tickets are now officially on sale today. Early bird tickets start at $85 for a three day camping pass and will increase in price as it gets closer to the date of the festival. The three day event will take place on Aug. 9-11 2018 in Green Mountain, NC.
The festival, now in its fifth official year, will feature live regional and national musical acts, local craft vendors, and is also unveiling a brand new bath house. The property is also located on the Toe River, which attendees can swim in freely.
Christopher Glover, one of the festival’s organizers, says attendees can expect “more people and more bands” than previous years. Although the official lineup will not be revealed until April 1st, 80s bluegrass fusion band Love Canon and local favorites Town Mountain are on the lineup. Phuncle Sam, Screaming Js, Hustle Souls and Emma’s Lounge are confirmed as well.
The festival is family friendly, and focuses on showcasing all the great talent the Asheville area has to offer. When asked how they’ve sustained the event the past five years, Randi Glover, another organizer of the festival, attributes it to “the community that we’ve grown with the Soulshine folks that come every year.”
The festival is all ages and open to the public, and people can sign up on the website to volunteer in exchange for a free ticket. The festival is also accepting applications for sponsors.
